Harvest Home

Each year, Groce’s Chapel hosts its annual Harvest Festival, a festival giving thanks to God for the harvest. Bringing in food from the garden or farm to celebrate the year’s harvest season.

The festival is set for a specific day and has become a national holiday known as Thanksgiving which falls on the fourth Thursday in November, for us our annual festival is held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving which enables families to enjoy the harvest on their Thanksgiving table.

This event is open to the public and continues to grow yearly. We typically begin the festival with lunch and move in to an auction of items from the harvest and items donated from various business.  This event is a wonderful community event bringing people together to fellowship.

Proceeds from this event will go towards the upkeep of this historic church and grounds.
